Lya is our Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog, and she is truly one of a kind. Wonderfully headstrong, full of opinions, and not always quick to do what is asked of her and that is exactly what makes her so special. Her strong, independent character gives her a certain spark that we absolutely cherish. Lya is a dog with personality, and once you know her, you wouldn’t want her any other way.

She is fantastic at frisbee and an absolute joy to work with. Lya can run incredibly fast, jump high, and has excellent timing and precision. She catches almost every disc which makes every training session feel like a big party. Her drive and athleticism are truly impressive.

Lya is a bit reserved when it comes to strangers and unfamiliar dogs, which is very typical for the breed. She prefers her own circle and is deeply loyal to her people, for us, she would go through fire.

Training Lya can sometimes be a challenge, as she is about 90% deaf and mostly responds only to louder sounds. But this doesn’t take away from her joy for life in the slightest. Lya embraces everything life has to offer with enthusiasm and lives each day to the fullest.
