The puppies leave their nest with int. pet passport, the pedigree, insofar as fully dewormed and vaccinated and a very extensive puppy package (food, information, toys, etc.).

We decide the names that will appear on the pedigree of the puppies. We do this because we do not yet know which puppy will go to which new owner if we have to pass on the names to the board of directors, because this has to be done before the puppies are 10 days old. being old. When the puppies are 6 weeks old, we perform a socialization test on our puppies. Partly on the basis of this, we decide together with the buyer which puppy best suits the family situation.

We personally don't like to name the puppy after a color or a number, we choose to give each puppy in the litter a name that he/she will ''listen'' to for 8 weeks. Coming up with a suitable name is something we love to do ourselves.

Creativity with the pedigree names is something we personally enjoy doing. That is why we choose a theme for each nest that we can be creative with. We then look for a pedigree name related to our nest theme, which must also match the litter name of the pup, because yes, that must of course also be added!

Then it becomes for example Nailed It Essie’s Autumn Glow (litter name Essie)

Because we apply this method, the future puppy owners are not obliged to choose a name with a certain letter, so they are completely free in choosing the name of their future puppy.

What do we test our sport/breeding dogs for?

In the medical field, the dogs must meet a number of requirements. For example, they must have a valid ECVO eye examination and have a good HD result. We also have the ED and back tested on the dogs as an extra, we think it is important that we only breed with parents who are completely healthy. Furthermore, the necessary DNA tests will take place, including:
- CEA: collie eye anomaly: eye disease.
- TNS: trapped neutrofiel syndroom: deadly abnormality of the white blood cells that causes the immune system to malfunction.
- IGS: imerslund gräsbeck syndroom: disorder in the intestine of the absorption of vitamin B12.
- SN: sensory neuropathie: puppies from 2-7 months old lose control of their hind legs because the nerves do not work properly. 

- MDR1: multidrug resistance gen: the gene, which is therefore missing in sick animals, ensures that certain medicines do not penetrate to the
             brain.
- NCL: neuronal ceroid lipofuscinose: deadly metabolic disease that affects behavior, movement, and vision.
- RS; raine syndroom: developmental disorder of the teeth that causes them to discolor and wear abnormally quickly.
- CN: cyclische neutropenie: periodically malfunctioning immune system.
- DM: degeneratieve myelopathie: disorder of the spinal cord that causes a slow paralysis of the hindquarters.
- MH: maligne hyperthermie: a disease of the skeletal muscles.
- HUU: hyperuricemie: sufferers form bladder stones.
- PLL: primary lens luxation: detachment of the lens of the eye.
- MC: myotonia congenita a muscle disorder characterized by a kind of spasm in the muscle cells.

Our dogs will be tested for these conditions and more. In the unlikely event that a male or female is a carrier of a condition, the partner will have to be tested and clear. By having our dogs undergo the necessary tests + extra, we do everything we can to give birth to healthy puppies.

Buying a puppy from us

After careful consideration, you have decided that you would like to welcome one of our puppy's into your family.

We understand that this decision comes with many questions: How does it work? What is included? When can the puppy come home? And how will the puppy travel from Hungary to you?

Below, we have gathered the most important practical information about buying a puppy from us.

When a puppy leaves our kennel, we want you to have everything you need for a good and healthy start together.

Our puppies:

• are registered with an FCI pedigree and, when applicable, an export pedigree;
• are microchipped;
• receive all required vaccinations and a European Pet Passport;
• receive the rabies vaccination required for travelling abroad;
• are raised under the care and supervision of our veterinarian in Kaposvár, Dr. Krisztina Kiss.

Our veterinarian records the European Pet Passport number together with the puppy's microchip number and reports these details to the Hungarian Central Registration Office. This provides reliable registration and traceability and gives you, as the new owner, an additional level of security.

When can the puppy go home?

For puppies staying in Hungary, they may go to their new owners from 8/9 weeks of age.

For puppies travelling from Hungary to another EU country, different rules apply. Due to the EU requirements regarding rabies vaccination, a puppy must be at least 15 weeks old before the puppy can legally travel across the border.

Our puppies receive their rabies vaccination at 12 weeks of age. The required waiting period is 21 days after the vaccination, meaning that the puppy can travel from 15 weeks of age.

Every puppy is sold with an official contract. A copy of the contract is also provided to the relevant Hungarian authorities.

Every Nailed It puppy leaves with a carefully prepared puppy package, put together by us to give both the puppy and the new owner the best possible start together.

The package includes:

• Food –The food your puppy is used to eating with us, so there is no need to change their diet immediately after coming home.
• New toys – Something fun to discover and play with in their new home.
• Our “Stink Package” – A few toys and familiar items from the puppy's time in the nest, carrying the familiar scents of their littermates and surroundings. These familiar smells can provide comfort during the transition to their new home.
• A handmade leash – made by us especially for your puppy.
• Treats – a few of their familiar favourites to enjoy along the way.
• A comprehensive puppy folder – containing all the important information we have collected throughout the litter's time with us. This includes information about the development of the litter, health results of the parents, relevant health information, and a selection of informative articles and documents that we believe will be useful to you as a new owner.

We don't see this as simply a bag of goodies. It is our way of sending a little piece of Nailed It home with you and making the transition from our kennel to your family as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Transportation

As we live in Hungary, one of the practical questions is How will your puppy get to you?

We offer two possibilities.

Puppy Price, Deposit & Travel Costs

As of 1 January 2026, the price of a puppy is:

€ 1500,-

This price includes everything described above, with the exception of travel expenses.

Reserving a Puppy

If you would like to reserve a puppy, a €275 deposit is required.

The deposit is deducted from the final purchase price.

Travel Allowance

If you choose our personal delivery service to The Netherlands, Belgium or Germany, the travel allowance is €399.

This amount must be paid in advance and received before we leave Hungary with your puppy.

Deposit

Please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable if the purchase does not take place because the buyer changes their mind.
